Friends!
While stuck in quarantine limbo we thought we’d dream a bit and came up with our top 10 US travel destinations. Here they are in no particular order, with some of our favorite specifics about each place...
Yosemite National Park - Mountains, waterfalls, rivers, and forests. The incredible vistas are endless.
San Francisco, CA - Fog, sourdough, cable cars, the Pacific Ocean, Queen Anne architecture, bridges, and history.
Colorado Springs, CO - Garden of the Gods, hiking, fresh mountain air, high altitude vistas, and old bungalows.
Antebellum Trail, GA - Deep south vibes, quaint towns, preserved mansions, sprawling farmland, all steeped in Civil War history.
New Orleans, LA - Gritty Bourbon Street and wild Mardi Gras, beignets and po' boys, shotgun houses, and the mighty Mississippi.
Mendocino, CA - Foggy headlands, quaint towns, craggy beaches, towering redwoods, and twisty coastal highways.
Portland, OR - Drizzling rain, Mt. Hood, Columbia river, waterfalls, mountain highways, forests, and flowers.
Washington, DC - Museums, National Mall, monuments, Metro, quaint neighborhoods.
Chattanooga, TN - Lookout mountain, Tennessee River, battlefields, and great hiking.
Fort Myers, FL - Sanibel Island, collecting seashells, sandy beaches, Ford and Edison winter estates, swimming in the Gulf of Mexico.
Until next time, may words bless you!
